Dreadhead Soul is the brainchild of artist/designer Stephen Blackshear, who has been designing and creating since his early teens. Birthed from the soul of the streets and the love of fashion, Dreadhead Soul provides pieces ranging from clothing to headwear to footwear to accessories. A personal touch is put on every piece, whether the design is a personally requested “one of a kind” or from a signature line.

Dreadhead Soul aims to bridge the gap between races, genders, and ages. With fashions that appeal to the sensibilities of men, women, teens and children…from white collar to blue collar to no collar. One major goal of Dreadhead Soul is to bring people together through fashion, but without putting a strain on your pockets. As Stephen puts it: “I keep my projects priced low for my street folks… because money is funny right now.”

Art

Dreadhead Soul is designed to keep you at the front of fashion trends, with urban takes on any and everything from pop culture standards to vintage chic: “I’ve often seen pieces and thought…’that’s dope, but if you added this or that it could be so much fresher’,” Stephen says. “I always see ideas that can be improved upon, so I decided to improve them or create urban replicas and take them to a completely different level.”
